About Megan Ricciardi

Megan learned how to build with aircrete in Australia where she started The Art of Domes, running hands-on workshops across the country. She returned to the US and started Airy Fairy Sanctuaries to continue to spread her knowledge of aircrete. Megan is proof that you don’t need a traditional construction background to learn how to build your own home. She is passionate about creating systems and trainings that make homebuilding approachable for ordinary people. Her workshops focus on real-world skills, empowering people to confidently create their own homes, studios, garden buildings, and alternative structures using lightweight, insulating aircrete technology.

In addition to teaching workshops, Megan has designed and built aircrete domes and structures for clients, combining practical construction techniques with innovative design. She, along with her partner, Atim, work together to run aircrete workshops and are also available for custom build projects.
